Main Task: Production - Contents Page

I have begun to plan out my Contents page in order to get this finished as quickly as possible. By inserting image boxes and text boxes where I want things to be, it will make the process of inserting the images easier at a later date. I cannot complete this part of the task yet as I have not taken the photographs I wish to appear on the contents page. So far I have added a gradient background to my contents plan, however I will alter this more until I get the desired, professional standard. In order for the contents to look more appealing, I think I need to incorporate more white to the background on the left hand side where the heaviest lay of text will be. 
























I deleted the background as I felt this made the contents look unprofessional. I also reduced the size of the red boxes so the underlined the headings rather than encased them, this makes the text more legible. 

Once I had made an initial design of my contents, I decided it did not fit my genre and looked empty. In order to make it more fitting, I completely changed the layout and design and have now included a large picture on the left hand side of the page over two columns.
